14+ years at the intersection of data, technology, and people. Energy, manufacturing, aerospace, and consulting.

I started in finance at ConocoPhillips and moved from Texas to Oklahoma to Alaska, chasing what was interesting to me: getting as close as possible to operations and building a fundamental understanding of the business. Somewhere along the way, I became the bridge between business context and technology.

That curiosity led me to want to learn more industries. Helicopters sounded cool, so hello Fort Worth and Bell Flight. Realized I needed more technical depth and went back for a Master's. Somehow came back with two of them. Helped stand up a data and analytics team at Textron Aviation. That's when it clicked: I didn't want to solve the same problems for one company. I wanted different problems, different industries, and to keep learning.

Which brought me to consulting. Now I'm a Data Strategy Lead at InterWorks, designing data platforms for Fortune 500 clients. I've built over $1M in annual pipeline through relationships, not marketing.

I won a competitive Sigma architecture case study against three other firms. That took hands-on technical skills to design the right solution and storytelling to present it.

I maintained a major client engagement through 100% C-suite turnover. I recovered a failed relationship and turned it into a new six-figure engagement. Both required building things and building trust.

Every industry taught me something different. Finance taught me the language of business. Alaska taught me operations. Aerospace taught me technical teams. All of it prepared me for consulting in ways a straight path never could have.

This site is a place to build, stay sharp, and think out loud. Clear writing is clear thinking. If I can't explain something simply here, I probably don't understand it well enough to help a client with it.
